Review: Four Horsemen Outer Space Men Galactic Holiday Cyclops Action Figure

Four Horsemen Outer Space Men Galactic Holiday Cyclops Action FigureI dig Cyclops even if red doesn't shoot all that well. We've had plenty of red clear Outer Space Men (Inferno, Astro-Nautilus, Mystron, Commander Comet) so why not do one more? The big beast looks great in red, in person at least. Red can be tricky to shoot right, but if you're not an expert in photography they're all a little tricky. I am not an expert.

He's really big, and has all of the perks and shortcomings of his clear brothers. As a heavier figure, the Glyos joints strain slightly under the weight and may sag if the figure is not balanced properly. The plastic doesn't warp, but the figure will slowly tip forward and, eventually, nosedive off a shelf if left alone and unbalanced for a few days. Aside from that, it's a really solid figure: it feels like you could kill a rat with this thing, and he's fairly well jointed as Glyos figures go. With roughly 14 joints of merit, the figure can assume a few poses beyond what you see in the pictures. Each joint only swivels, so there's no bending knees or elbows here and it tends to be a little more noticeable than on the smaller guys. The Horsemen opted out of including bent arms here as well, so instead you have the option of closed fists to hold his extra eyes (the ray guns) or open fists which resemble the original prototype's hands.
