Bluestar Outer Space Men - First Four Live Now!
As of now we don't know how many glow-in-the-dark Bluestar Outer Space Men figures will be ran, but the first four are in the shop now. Astro-Nautilus, Inferno, Metamorpho, and Xodiac were the first four figures ran in 2010 - and now they're the first four blue figures! Check availability here. They're $25.00 each.

Outer Space Men Sofubi Pink Original Orbitron Action Figure
I like it. The Sofubi Pink Original Orbitron is a design I like, in a color I like, and Gary Schaeffer and Mel Birnkrant gave me a tour of the figure's ins and outs when I visited them in February of this year.

Review: Outer Space Men Sofubi Glow in the Dark Orbitron Action Figure
After over a hundred small figures at increasing prices, I dragged my feet on Sofubi Glow in the Dark Orbitron - obviously I want a glow guy, but I held off until it was in stock. I was given the opportunity to preview it during Toy Fair (thanks Gary and Mel!) and what we have here is pretty close to what I saw there - but it's a little shinier, and the joints are a little looser. It's not as solid as the Colossus Rex [FOTD #2,131] and it's also a bit taller than the "giant," with looser joints. I'm not loving that. The accessories are gorgeous, with a much more three-dimensional star accessory. When I got him, I set him up on a shelf - and he was missing when I came home. The leg joints are loose enough that gravity pulled him down and he was hanging from a shelf by his star, for dear life, for at least a little while. He's got a strong grip. Orbitron's claws may be the most perfect hands to grip any action figure accessory in quite some time.

Review: Outer Space Men Cosmic Radiation Zero Gravity Action Figure
I have enjoyed the Cosmic Radiation Zero Gravity figure, but it's wildly inessential. Regular Zero Gravity [FOTD #2,041] already glows in the dark and for $5 more has a cardback and a more interesting paint job. The Infinity version has a preposterously detailed human head, thanks in part to some of the best paint you'll see on a human head the size of a peanut. Commander Comet is often similarly as good - you can't not be impressed by it.

Outer Space Men Blue Glow Packaging
If you're a toy collector of a certain age, "Blue Stars" hold a certain meaning for you - and now it can hold new meaning with the Outer Space Men Bluestar Series revealed on Instagram. Glow in the Dark Blue Astro-Nautilus, Xodiac, and Inferno were teased - and the packaging is gorgeous. (Gary and Mel, t-shirts please.)
These are expected around Black Friday.

Outer Space Men Sale - OSMLABORDAY2019 for 20% Off
Today is a good day to buy. If you go to The Outer Space Men Shop, you can save 20% off with code OSMLABORDAY2019. I just grabbed a couple of the now-in-stock Sofubi Orbitron figures the other week with another sale code - you might want to pick up anything you might be missing.
Orders above $100 get a free t-shirt. (Nobody gave me a free shirt!) Details on Instagram.
One caveat - the glow Orbitron has jointed ankles, and the plastic there is a little softer and thinner. For those of you who collect a lot of toys, that means only one thing - it falls over without support, usually within a couple of hours. I would strongly recommend picking up doll stands as support for these 12 3/4-inch vinyl figures at online or a local craft hut.

Review: Onell Design Glyos OSM Colossus Rex Tyraxsis
Crossovers
are far and few between in this line - cosmically speaking, anyway - as
it has been nearly eight months since the last one. OSM Colossus Rex Tyraxsis
must have been in the works for a long time, as I remember Matt Doughty
of Onell Design talking about doing a special version back in 2011 -
years before the figure even saw production for the first time - and I
had no idea what he had planned for the mold. According to his notes,
the Tyraxsis is a dinosaur-inspired colorway, and I see it - it looks
like it would fit nearly any terrible lizard toy.

Review: Outer Space Men White Star Zero Gravity Action Figure
Manufactured in 2018 but not released until June 2019, this Outer Space Men White Star Zero Gravity
ticks a box. With it, your collection of white plastic figures to
customize is completed! Probably. That makes for a stellar collection
of 21 white-as-white-can-be figures, the irony of which is not lost with
this character.

At Last: Outer Space Men White Star Zero Gravity
He's here! Finish up the (current) complete roster of Glyos-compatible 3 3/4-inch scale White Star action figures with Zero Gravity. He's $25.00.
Just a few remain, and according to the official Instagram: "The last 3 3/4” Glyos OSM from the mind of Mel Birnkrant is live inside the Webstore. This is the 21st and last Whitestar figure to finish off the collection. While there are some major surprises this summer and into the fall; here is the ultimate installment to end one hell of a series."

Review: Outer Space Men Cosmic Radiation Cthulhu Nautilus Action Figure
I probably don't need to review Cosmic Radiation Cthulhu Nautilus because you should, by now, know what to expect. The figure has removable parts, sports a lot of articulation, glows brighter than most action figures, and features better than expected silver highlights.

Toy Fair 2019 - Technically - The Outer Space Men!
While there was no actual presence of The Outer Space Men at Toy Fair 2019, I did visit Gary Schaeffer and Mel Birnkrant to chat and take pictures of the new Sofubi Orbitron test shots. (I did mention the Diversus edition mouth paint application is missing, so don't @me.)

Review: Onell Design Glyos OSM Cthulhu-Nautilus Rlyehzoth
The long-gestating alien came out, and we even got a rockin' redeco before 2018 ended. The OSM Cthulhu-Nautilus Rlyehzoth takes the base Cthulhu- Nautilus [FOTD #2,015] and gives it new colors and textures - and an alternate build!
